After spending many years working in mining and mining projects one day I decided that the time had come to start my own business. And after my “if you build it, they will come” moment, I decided that a whiskey distillery was needed in Mendoza and the time was now. Having been a whiskey lover for many years and having traveled extensively around the world, I have tried many whiskeys and have my own idea about what type of whiskey I would like to make as my signature. But as many master distillers could tell you, sometimes perfection is something that may never be achieved, but it is worth a shot.
Recently, my dear mother Patricia Ann Brook completed extensive research into our family history and found many colorful characters, many of whom worked in pubs and breweries. Including one notorious figure, William Whitlam, who manufactured moonshine in his home. While the decision to start the distillery was mine, my ancestors are to blame for my love of whiskey.
